Description | In a group of 23 patients ( 10 men, 13 women, mean age 28,6 years) with atopic dermatitis in air exposed areas atopy patch tests were conducted with airborne allergens as well as the investigation of specific IgE and prick tests. The results of atopy patch tests correlated with the history in 69,5 %, while the correlation of the results of prick tests and specific IgE with the history was lower (60,9 % resp. 56,5%). Mutual correlation of the results of atopy patch tests and specific IgE was 34,8%, atopy patch tests and prick tests 30,4% and specific IgE and prick tests 87%. |
