Description | Chemical species is specific form of an element defined as to isotopic composition, electronic or oxidation state, and/or complex or molecular structure. Speciation analysis is identification and quantitative measurement of one or more individual chemical species in a sample in which the distribution of chemical species is dependent on experimental conditions. The speciation analysis becomes one of the most growing branches of analytical chemistry. The chapter is focused on application of artificial neural networks for the speciation analysis and their possibilities for future utilization are discussed. |
