Description This article deals with legal regulations which apply to the relations among the Czech Republic and the ACP-countries after the Czech Republic joint the European Union. First, the common commercial policy according to the head IX of the EEC-Treaty is sketched. Second, the relations among the Czech Republic and the developing countries before the access of the Czech Republic into EU are generally described. Next, the Cotonou agreement and the alternatives of relationships among the ACP-countries and the member states of the EU, which are based upon it, are briefly explored. In the end, the financial and the development co-operation is mentioned.
