Citation
Description The paper is based on the conviction that communication represents - together with mental and social behaviour - a basic form of human behaviour and that man by means of communication and its results, especially concepts and stories, is building his world. People construct their social and cultural realities that appear as the final and highest product of communication, as an information database of cultural paradigms and as an essential and needful assumption of communication. The aim of my paper is to find out the place of communication competencies in the system of the presuppositions of human communication, to identify the sorts of communication competencies, and to bring to light how communication competencies affect intercultural communication.
