| Description | The paper briefly describes in particular educational and psychological segment of structured teacher education of physical education (PE) at the Faculty of Sports Studies Masaryk University (FSpS MU). The creation and development of structured teacher training in PE relates to the conception of FSpS MU. Since its foundation in 2002 the faculty accredits all fields of study in a structured form. Teacher education at FSpS MU responds to the specific requirements of teaching PE and students of this field. Further, the paper discusses several positive aspects of structured teacher education and selected innovations in teacher training in PE at FSpS MU. |
