Description This study proposes a review of current approaches to the topic of justice in the perspective of psychology. These various approaches can be classified in three basic groups. The first group deals with justice motivation, the second one focuses on the different ways of resources distribution and their appraisals, i.e. whether they are just or not. The approaches coming under the third group have their origin in the Just World Theory (Lerner, 1980) which is centred on personal beliefs of individuals on whether the world is a just place. These approaches overlap in some respects and complement one another. As such, the study offers a comprehensive conceptual frame of psychological research on justice.
