| Description | The research project has mapped the sector of (NGOs) that deal with the issues of integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic, their current offer of services for foreigners and their assessment of the effectiveness of the services. It then offers a detailed survey of the services consumed by foreigners between January and April 2008. The research report shows who provides services to foreigners in the Czech Republic and what those services are; why foreigners do not make use of the services offered; and what characteristics in foreigners influence their consumption of services offered by the NGOs. It analyses those needs of foreigners that have not been met and the barriers that have a negative impact on the process of integration. It identifies areas in which the NGOs wish to improve their services as well as the barriers that prevent them from doing so. In the conclusions, the findings are synthesised to highlight the most interesting information and to offer recommendations for both the NGOs and the policy makers. |
