Description | We get on with our experiences in using of sentences with verbs jet, jezdit, letět, létat and vocables designating mounts (in English car, in Czech auto, in English plane, in Czech letadlo, in English train, in Czech vlak). There are used sentences with those verbs and pronoun to (it) correferring to the names of the mounts in spoken texts: Spěchám na vlak. Za chvíli mi to jede., or pronoun to referring to the mount that is not noted in the text: Už utíkej na nástupiště, ať ti to neujede. (to = vlak/train); Cesta na letiště trvá asi půl hodiny. Kdy vám to letí? (to = letadlo/plane). That type of sentences was found in the corpus of spoken Czech and in the SYN2000, too. We are going to learn under what contextual conditions is possible to replace pronoun to by the names of mounts or under what contextual conditions is possible to replace the names of mounts by pronoun to or by pronouns ten, ta. |
