Description | The Middle Danube region provided an evidence for association of the Neanderthal with the Middle Paleolithic of the interglacial and early glacial, but more delicate remians the question of the last Neanderthals and their relationship to the “transitional” or Initial Upper Paleolithic (IUP) entities during the Interpleniglacial. Modern human appearence in the Balkans and Central Europe becomes actually better documented thanks to the discovery at Pestera cu Oase (34-36 ka BP) and the revision of Mladeč(after 34-35 ka BP). |
