Description The patients after liver transplantation are at risk infections caused by agents originating from the gastrointestinal tract. Due to impaired intestinal barrier functions, bacteria pass through the intestinal wall and enter the bloodstream. Bacteria may get to distant systems and cause infection. By investigation of the level of endotoxin, cultivation of gut moiroflora and pathogenes from extraintestinal sides comparison of their fenotype and genotype, we try to demonstrate translocation.
