Description Wounds is chrakcterized by damane of skin surfare kontiuity and organism integrity. Chronic wounds usually arise in tissues trophically altered by previous diserders of vascular, mainly venous origin. Chronic wounds heal by new tissue formation (per secundam healing) and that is why thein reparation is lond and influenced by origin and extent of damane tissue. This review drala with classification of wounds, differences in acute and chronic wound healing and therapy.
