| Description | Malignant tumours are routinely diagnosed also in children. The results of their therapy are not dependent only on biological treatment. Also the mental condition of the child and his/her social environment play an important role. Every month, the patients of the children s oncology department in Brno visit the zoo with their parents and the nursing and medical staff. This program has been running for ten years already.The students of Masaryk University also cooperate on this program. |
