| Description | The article deals with a cause of sourse of nicotin addiction. It brings posibility of prevention and effectivity of the primary preventive programmes devoted to children in schools. Effective preventive programmes are focused on increasing knowledge, positive influencing on attitudes and behavior and possible change in behavior. It is recommeded to use peer-approach and life skills training: personal and self-management skills (enhancing self-esteem, reducing stress), general social skills (commnunicating skills, avoiding violence, drug resistance skills (building defense against pressure to use drugs, craving). The article introduces the primary preventive programme for younger schoolchildren Non-Smoking is a Norm. The recommendation for high effectivity are implemented in this programme. It is focused on drug and cancer prevention on primary school level. |
