| Description | Priorities of the European health policy are people and their health with all its determinants. Health policy is characterized by an explicit concern for health and equity in all areas of policy and by accountability for health impact. European health policy is based on many strategic documents, such as Programme Health 21 which is the framework of European health policy since 1998 and the Second Programme of Community Action in the Field of Health 2008-2013 which was adopted by the European Parliament and Council. European health policy is a promising motivation and a good example for health policy in the Czech Republic. |
