Description | During archaeological rescue research preceding the construction of commercial area in Brno - Tuřany a settlement agglomeration and burial site of Early Bronze Age was discovered. The south part of settlement was marked out by row of six almost regularly aligned reserve pits oriented approximately in direction W - E. In these features were found human remains of 4 children and 5 adults. The anthropological and paleopathological analysis were done. It is possible that the inhumation of the bodies into the reserve pits was a consequence of their stigmatization and social elimination. |
