| Description | This article deals with the 2009 presidential elections in Mongolia. In the first part, article describes situation before the election. Then we briefly introduce presidential candidates and their election campaign. In the next part of the article, we analyse election results on nationwide as well as regional level, including factors eventually account for election results. At the end of the article are outlined possible consequences of election for the development on the Mongolian political scene. |
