| Description | 20 patients with chordoma were treated. Cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine and os sacrum (40%) were affected. Of the patients with chordoma of the mobile spine, 66% were treated by combined antero-posterior surgery, for sacral spine chordoma, a dorsal approach was always used. The average survival time was 63 months, 11 patient required repeat surgery, 8 had recurrent tumour and 3 wound infection. |
