| Description | The chapter focuses on an analysis of monetary policy in the Czech Republic during 2000 and 2008. We put the accent on the potential relation between monetary policy and economic growth in the analysed country. The main part of the chapter deals with development and assesment of the monetary policy in the Czech Republic. Monetary policy is assessed according to the three following criteria: the inflation target fulfilment, predictability of the central bank decisions and finally on the basis of fulfilment of prognosis. |
