| Description | Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease of metabolic dysregulation involving the abnormal metabolism of glukose. Diabetes mellitus has a specific cloníc and laboutaries sings and many nonspecific signs including cutanemous manifestation. Cutaneous igns ot the disease are at 25-50% patients with diabetes mellitus, but they may also be the first presenting signs of diabetes or even precede of diagnosis. The author describes skin manifestations, which can be grouded int the following groups: 1. the changes correlate with dysregulation of metabolism, 2. the changes non correlate with dysregulation of metabolism, 3. the changes associated with treatment of diabetes mellitus, 4. the other cutaneous changes. In this review autor is especially interesting abit skin infection in patient with diabetes mellitus. |
