Description Moravian estate diets performed significant tasks in the provincial administration in the post-1628 period. Absence of a functional lower-level royal administration structure turned the diets into unsubstitutable organs integrally embedded in the overall administration system of the monarchy. The study is concerned with the provincial law and its impact on the functioning of the moravian diets (Renewal Provincial Order), course of sessions, social structure of the participants and their mutual conflicts.
