Description Up to 50% of genetic susceptibility for psoriasis is associated with PSORS1. But, other single nucleotide polymorphisms were observed to be more common in subjects with psoriasis. Polymorphic variants in retinoid X receptors, RAGE (advanced glycation end products), angiogenetic and cytokine genes can be supposed to participate in etiopathogenesis of psoriasis at least as gene-modifiers.
