| Description | The patogenesis of shock is described with regard to elderly patients, the response of different parts of human organism is mentioned - cellular response, neuroendocrine response, pulmonary response, renal response, the reaction of liver tissue and splanchnic area, systemic inflamative response. Actual therapeutic steps are summarized - the restoration of tissue perfusion, the normalisation of haemodynamics, the supportion of renal function, the renewal of haemocoagulation balance. The attention to different types of shock is devoted and preventive measures are discussed. |
