Description Sexual dysfunction is a frequent problem after spinal cord injury. Erectile dysfunction and anejaculation are a common cosequence spinal cord injury. In the treatment of erectile dysfunction is the oral treatment of PDE-5 inhibitors of intracavernous injections of PGE1. The possibilities to obtain semen are electroejaculation or TESE (Testicular Sperm Extraction). By assisted reproductive technique by intracytoplasmic sperm injection we obtain biological paternity of paraplegic men. A sexologist-andrologist is a member of the therapeutic team of the Spinal Unit of the Traumatological Hospital Brno. In the first stage a sexologist informs the spinal cord patients about possible sexual dysfunction. In the second stage we solve particular problems of the erectile dysfunction, infertility and female sexual dysfunction.
