Description | There is presented the developed model for the evaluation of cost and price relationships in the municipal waste management of the Czech Republic (CZ), created by the authors for the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic. The model was developed based on appropriate input macroeconomic variables and production of municipal waste of every municipality in CZ. It enables to simulate the influence of different waste landfill fees and the inclusion or exclusion of certain equipment in preparation for energy recovery (EVO) or mechanical-biological treatment (MBT) of waste in selected locations and the prescribed annual capacity. It comes out data from municipality annual reports (if available) on the production of municipal waste and its estimation by using an additional sophisticated model of authors, including demographic and socio-economic impacts. |
