Description Color vision is an ability to distinguish objects according the wavelength of light, which is from objects reflected, through objects transmitted or from objects emitted. Color vision defect (CVD) is an inability to distinguish some differences between colors. Current methods for CVD examination can be divided into four groups – distinguish tests (pseudochromatic tests), arrangement tests (Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test), matching tests (anomaloscope) and naming tests (Farnsworth Lantern).
