Description | The chapter defines the concept of inclusive education; its basis and content from the perspective of international documents and approaches. Subsequently; the term inclusive education is analyzed from the point of view of current legislation in the Czech Republic. The theoretical basis are followed by quantitative research analyzing the readiness of educators for education of students with special education needs in inclusive settings from the point of view of educators in primary schools in the region of north Moravia. The article presents selected outcomes of research conducted within the research project Special needs of students in context of the framework education programme for primary education. |
