Description | This publication is one of the outputs of the long-term project School and Health for the 21st Century conducted at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University between 2005 and 2012. The proceedings contain essays, studies and research reports of authors specializing in various fields of pedagogical and medical sciences and related disciplines. Also included are studies exploring general relationships of contemporary health education in our schools. In addition to articles of philosophical or historical slant, the volume features texts on health education from the perspective of, inter alia, the literary science, linguistics and management that offer a deeper insight into the area of study on the one hand and, on the other, are indicative of the breadth of scientific inquiry offered by research into health education and health promotion. Also valuable are papers by foreign authors describing European experience in health education. |
