| Description | Owing to their high efficacy, biologics made a significant impact on the treatment of severe psoriasis. However, this highly targeted treatment is associated with potential risks. The present paper provides an overview of the risk -benefit ratio for adalimumab in the treatment of psoriasis as well as it touches upon other indications of this medicinal product. More than 10 years of experience with adalimumab in rheumatoid and gastroenterological indications and more than 3 years of experience in the treatment of psoriasis suggest stable short-term as well as long-term efficacy and safety of this compound. |
