• Description: The metabolic syndrome appears in 20-40% seniors dependent on clinical criteria used. Metablic syndrome in seniors influences negatively cognitive functions, independency od seniors, depression appearance. If we prove one part of metabolic syndrome we should to find actively another parts to intervene on time and to delay the progression of whole patophyziologic complex.
