| Description | The archival materials that are deposited in archives in the Czech Republic are very important sources of documentation and information for the society. Democratic countries respecting the freedom of information give public the acces to the archival materials in the most possible extent. But this acces also needs a special legal regulation to protect discreet pieces of information including personal data which are contained in the accessible archival materials. The aim of this present paper is to underline the current regulation of personal data protection in the administration of archiving in Czech Republic in accordance with the valid legal norms mainly Act No. 499/2004 Coll., on archiving and records services. |
