Description | In the education of pupils with intellectual and developmental disabilities, teachers are faced with ethical problems and dilemmas. The given article is looking closely at these problems and emphasizes the need for discussion to create a code of ethics and to improve the standards of practice. It draws our attention to how a teacher is expected to behave and this can help teachers to deal with difficult matters and therefore protect the rights and the dignity of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. |
