| Description | The ETS Directive 2003/87/EC amended the IPPC Directive 96/61/EC by stating that IPPC permit cannot include emission limitation for greenhouse gases. This contribution is dealing with the question if Member states could, as an abovestandard- rule, include the best available technology requirement for newly established installations into their national legislations. The possible development in respect to the proposed Directive on Industrial Emissions (IED) is dealt with as well. |
