Description | The paper presents a new perspective on Slavic Professor of Legal History Theodor Saturník and his treatise: About the Private Law Among the Slavs in Earlier Times, which became a detonator in the dispute, which could include the most watched in the interwar era. In a concrete example based on the Book of Law from Brno monitors the most important arguments of critics of the work mentioned above that publicized the dispute, not only on the pages of professional journals, as well as newspapers. Against the background of the personal dimension of the dispute focuses on the particular kind of criticism, which dealt largely with the status of the Slavic legal history at the Law Faculty in Prague, including the methods and possible targets, which this discipline is able to achieve. |
