Description The article was created as the result of the research oriented at innovation of the content and forms of secondary school mathematics teaching. The article shows solving of recurrent sequences as one idea for problem teaching in mathematics at secondary schools and universities. First there are given four solved examples, then there follows a problem whose solving offers other questions and topics suitable for students exploring.
