Description | Alloys were prepared from metals Sb, Sn, Zn. Thus obtained samples were analyzed by DTA with apparatus by Netzsch STA 409. Alloys were then annealed for a long time to achieve thermodynamic phase equilibrium. For evaluation was used program „NETZSCH Proteus Thermal Analysis“ Samples were investigated by electron microscopy. The chemical compositions of coexisting phases were determined by EDX analysis. CALPHAD method was used for prediction isothermal iso-concentration section of ternary phase diagram of Sb-Sn-Zn from binary phase diagrams of the subsystem of Sn-Sb, Zn, Sn, Sb, Sn,. Thermodynamic database of phase parameters COST 531 was used for all predictions the. slovosled It has been optimized for lead-free solders (SOLDER) supplemented by the thermodynamic parameters of the currently published subsystem Sb-Zn [1]. The result of this work is the proposal of two isothermal sections of ternary phase diagram of Sb-Sn-Zn. Estimate of phase section was studied for the useability for lead-free soldering |
