| Description | Currently, the large number of secondary and elementary schools are equipped with measuring system ISES. It can be used not only in teaching physics and other natural sciences, but also in relation to the knowledge of the human body and it health. Measurement of body temperature, pulse, electrical resistance of the human body, and other variables extends pupils an overview of the human body and potential health indicators. The voluntary student will be monitored during various physical and mental activities such as: knee-bend, lying and standing position, solving problems, puzzles, playing game on the PC. ISES system allows a simple way to change the measurement modules (temperature, pulse, ECG-meter). It enables measuring in real-time and monitoring on the PC. The measured data can be stored for further processing. Appropriate application is in the educational field of Information and Communication Technologies, Man and His World, Man and Nature (Physics, Chemistry, Natural Sciences), Man and Health (Health Education). The project proposes two laboratory exercises, using a ISES system. The students are pushed to realize experiments themselves and to propose activities, during that will be monitored chosen the biophysical properties of the human body. The output of the project is the worksheets for teachers and pupils, two laboratory tasks for elementary school. |
