| Description | Since 2nd half of 2008 the labour market of the European Union has been significantly affected by economic recession which is reflected in all regions of the Czech Republic, including also the South-Moravian Region. Its impact on the labour market are reflected mainly by decrease of job opportunities, increasing number of job seekers, and thus an increase in unemployment rate, as well as increasing long-term unemployment. It also comes to significant changes in the structure of employment in sectors of economy and related educational structure. Individual employers in the region react on this situation differently. In 2010, when it is spoken about the going off of the economic recession, many of them have already surpassed the critical period and are gaining employees again. Therefore, the aim of the presented paper based on the results of an questionnaire survey in the South-Moravian region, is analysis of actual changes by employers and on labour market during 2010. |
