| Description | The article was created as the result of the research oriented at innovation of the content and forms of secondary school mathematics teaching. The article deals with the topic of teaching real numbers at school mathematics. After a brief introduction devoted to arithmetic and geometric model of real numbers, there follows a description of the possibility how to represent values of some goniometrical functions by expressions with roots. Further the expressions are represented approximately with the help of continued fractions. In the conclusion there are mentioned also algebraic and transcendental numbers. |
