Description Modern information and communication technologies (ICTs) enable fast and efficient work with data, time saving, shortening of distance, etc. They are used at work, training courses, studying and in leisure time. Yet the findings show that overuse of the technologies causes a kind of addictive behavior and breaking of the basic ethical and safety rules. The research was carried out in all regions of the Czech Republic analyzing the answers of primary school pupils and secondary school students, in total of 1,072 respondents. The anonymous questionnaire consisting of thirty-five items was focusedon leisure time activities, use of computers, computer games, surfing on the Internet, ICT personal attacks and their solution, providing personal and other confidential data on social networks, offending content of websites, etc.
