Description Usage of the latest available pieces of knowledge of clinical practices is problematic in all areas of healthcare. The rate of implementation on evidence-based advancement is multifactorialy determined. Domain of wounds healing is specific, because it is not clearly set what procedures of healing of patients with chronic wounds are considered the newest and confirmed at the same time. Also there are real and even fabricated barriers preventing their application in practices. The article presents results of questionnare filled by students of Gerontology nursing. The research focused on possible implementation of acquired knowledge of modern healing of refractory wounds procedures in clinical practices. The results say, that there are not only differences in willingness and motivation of using the pieces of knowledge gained during special practices, but also there are various results depending on job position and workplace of the answerers. It is beneficial to see that most of the answerers reply that they perceive the information acquired during education as valid and scientifically proved.
