Description | 11 selected marathons with 233700 runners was watched by the tactical behavior (pace distribution) through runners‘ split times available on event website. The men were monitored more uneven pace, and also a tendency to slow down. Most uniform pace was at age group from 45 to 49 years, at least the smallest deceleration during the race was followed up in age group 40 to 44. In the performance category with a finish time between 3:30:00 and 3:59:59 was the largest relative representation of athletes with a tendency to accelerate. |
