Description | This article describes the state of speed – reactive abilities of young volleyball players during one year of training and competitions. This study is aimed to gain the basic data about the changes of agility, which is an important part of volleyball performance. The observation was made on two groups, cadets (15 – 17 years old) and juniors (17 – 20 years old). The research included the laboratory Agility, Compass drill and Standing broad jump tests. We found out the significant difference between our groups for all tests. The both groups showed the tendency to improve their results in all tests during the research year, the cadets improved by 11,3 % and the juniors by 10,1 % for agility test, the cadets improved by 4,1 % a and the juniors by 4,3 % for Compass drill, the cadets improved by 7,2 % and the juniors by 3 % for SBJ. |
