| Description | Trade unions in that period helped to create the necessary social and material security for the workers. The current Czech historiography deals with this issue only marginally. Previous period (Marxist understanding and class ideology) was very rich in the works about unions history but today, most of them are useless. In ten notes the study specifies basic problem areas that would deserve detailed elaboration. These include especially the issues of social legislation, the wage and working field and the protection of the workers. Trade unions in the Czech lands were responsible for the stability of the structure of social governance in the years of the Great Depression. Study is a part of scientific project. |
