| Description | This monograph deals with the types/subtypes of declension and paradigms of Czech feminine oikonyms. Its conclusions are based on an extensive research of synchronous corpuses within the Czech National Corpus, especially of the SYN2005 corpus. The research lasted for several years. This work describes the essential phenomena of a systemic nature, it reveals the central and peripheral phenomena, it identifies the factors influencing the choice of double endings and affects the trends in the Czech declination of the feminine oikonyms. The work also includes the evaluation of the concept of oikonyms and their declension in the Czech grammar books published over the last 100 years. |
