| Description | The study summarizes the activity of the Center for Research on the Works of Alois Hába which was established in 2003 to concetrate the facts about the work of Alois Hába (1893 – 1973). In 2004 – 2010 a representative catalogue of the composer's work was created; the work on the correspondence has been going on since 2008. The study deals with practical problems of editors; i.e. the technical aspects, and at the same time it describes the efforts to understand Hába as an outstanding person of the central European musical culture. The autors of the project try to gather scattered items into a comprehensive systém which would be an evidence of the composer's work, as much importial as possible. The autographs are examined from many aspects, the study comments the emphasis, or on contrary a disregard, to some of them. |
