Description The guideline was developed by a Task Force of the Czech Neurological Society supplied by a revmatologist and opposed by an immunologist and a plasma exchange specialist. The major recommendations was adapted from the key international guidelines created by Task forces of the European federation of neurological societies and the the Peripheral nerve society (Elovaara et al., 2008, Hughes et al., 2006, van Shaik et al., 2006). Level of evidence of all recommendations was classified according to the EFNS classification by Brainin et al. (2004). Recommendations were organised separately for particular autoimmune neuromuscular disorders: Guillain-Barré syndrome, chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, myasthenia gravis, multifocal motor neuropathy and polymyositis/dermatomyositis. In addition, the guideline contains also characteristics of the the whole therapeutical process including personal and technical demands.
