Description | The paper as an outcome is a part of research intent School and Health for the 21st Century (Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, MSM0021622421). A form teacher is an agent who is in possession of possibilities to influence healthy mental, physical and social progression both by single pupils and the classroom as a whole. The form teacher’s actitivities have – on every level of school education – not only its significance but also its peculiarities that arise from educational and psychological characteristics of any pupil of a certain age and from his or her individual mental, physical and social maturity. In that sense, the paper presented here, deals with the issues of a scope of a form teacher’s actitivities at high school, and it also specifies the conditions for a form teacher’s high school educational activities, identifies health risks and the modes of prevention (solutions) with an outline of activities to strengthen pupils’ health. The study also includes factual information that have been acquired through several researches aimed at problems of fixing and development of pupils’ health in high school conditions. This studyt is tied to earlier research findings that were published from 2006 to 2010. |
