| Description | The chapter serves as an introduction to the area of school education. It aims to present a systemic framework of quality in the area in order to interconnect the individual chapters in this book. This chapter comprises four parts: Czech educational research analyses' results with particular focus on unevenness of allocation of research attention, a reference to the need to produce research into school education outcomes in a way that allows integrated and cumulative knowledge to be founded, indication of urgent need to elaborate on models of (quality of) school education and corresponding research methods. Their co-ordinated application in research practice should therefore lead to production of mutually interconnected knowledge and its systemic inclucion into knowledge base. |
