| Description | The focus of the lecture is the interpretation of the flow of information within discourse from the viewpoint of the Brno approach to information structure. It presents criteria for the identification of the theme-rheme structure of a sentence and for the assessment of the contributions of individual sentence elements towards the development of communication. |
