| Description | This chapter addresses the following questions: what are the relations between the world of the Middle Ages and today's world, as manifested show understanding of medieval society in contemporary literature and later literature, especially in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, what are the principles and circumstances of the transposition of the medieval understanding of certain relationships to artworks later time. Specifically, we investigated these questions through medieval song called chantefable Aucassin et Nicolette, love story The story of Provence Julius Zeyer, a Czech composer of the 19th century and other parts of the same themes of Czech writers and painters of the 20th century. |
